I've been involved in wood working for 20+ years building beds, chairs, cabinets, desks, shelving, swings, etc. I've recently branched out into hand carving fireplace mantels, charcuterie boards, cutting boards and custom furniture. Now to add to my list, premium handcrafted Pyro Pokes.
After seeing the standard quality and basic design of other pokes on the market, I wanted to create something better. Why not have one that fits your hand, reduces fatigue and is unique in shape and color?

Creating firework shows has always been a passion of mine. I've been firing fireworks since I could walk and putting on shows for my family, friends and neighborhood for 15+ years. The diagram to the left is from my 2022 July 4th show I did for my subdivision.
Back in 2020 stepped up my fireworks shows with a remote system which required 'poking' firework cakes. I went on Amazon and saw the standard brass awl. Not liking the design or what you get for the price, I figured I would make one out of wood left over from random wood projects and Pyro Pokes was born.
